Start the day with flex time options that match your style and interests. Browse more than 95 specialty shops in Shipshewana’s quaint turn-of-the-century storefronts. Bargain hunters won’t want to miss the famous Shipshewana Flea Market followed by a revealing look inside the story of the Amish and Mennonite people at Menno-Hof, the Amish Mennonite Interpretive Center.

Afternoon
Sit down in Indiana’s largest restaurant, Das Dutchman Essenhaus, for a delicious meal then “flex your muscle” with a variety of options. Crafters may visit Das Dutchman Essenhaus for a hands-on topiary class. Historic downtown Middlebury is home to unique shopping including the 100-year-old Varns and Hoover Hardware. The family-owned Jayco RV company offers one of the best factory tours in the area. Or, take a swing at the 18 championship caliber holes of Spring Meadow Golf Club. If relaxation sounds best, a professional in-room massage may be just the thing you’re looking for. Whatever is your group’s pleasure, it can be arranged in Middlebury.

Evening
Tonight enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime experience with the Yoder family as they share the secrets of traditional Amish home cooking. Help prepare dinner and then relax and enjoy your feast. Afterward, ride down quiet country lanes in the family buggy.

Morning
Home, home on the range…hop on board a wagon for a scenic ride through Cook’s Bison Ranch. Feed the bison and learn about the natural habitat of the great American Buffalo. Then enjoy a traditional chuck wagon style lunch back at the ranch.

Afternoon
Customize your group’s experience with flex time options including on-site shopping, a guided farm tour, or make and take your own Shoofly pie at Amish Acres in Nappanee. A hard-core shopper? Borkholder Dutch Village offers 60,000-square-feet of crafts, antiques and collectibles. Or, choose a behind-the-scenes factory tour of popular RV manufacturer Gulfstream.

Evening
Gather in the hand hewn Amish Acres Restaurant Barn to experience the award winning Thresher’s Dinner. Overflowing bowls and platters filled with green beans, noodles, mashed potatoes, ham and other family-style favorites are passed around the table. Be sure to save room for Amish Acres famous Shoo-fly pie! At the historic Round Barn Theatre an evening performance of “Plain and Fancy” is on the bill. This sweet Amish love story plays year-round here in its national home theatre.

Morning
Fill your final day in Amish Country with backroads and local experiences! Start with a local expert guide as they take your group to the hidden treasures of Amish Country’s backroads. Enjoy tasty treats at Rise and Roll Bakery, Yoder’s Popcorn or Deutsch Kase Haus, just to name a few. Then thrill your group with a stop at the new, fully accessible, climate-controlled
American Countryside Farmers Market. It’s the world’s largest Amish built wood-peg structure! 51,452-square-feet, up to 493 vendors inside and outside offering fresh foods, handcrafted goods, plus demonstrations and entertainment. And your group can enjoy lunch at the International Food Court before heading for home with full shopping bags, fond memories and wonderful experiences of their Amish Country tour.
