23 unique designs, all bursting with color, each with its own special story, all placed along the nationally-recognized Heritage Trail.

Elkhart County’s first-ever Quilt Gardens Tour (SM) features a rainbow of annuals planted in artful combinations to form a colorful patchwork that will have you grabbing for your camera.

12 gorgeous gardens - averaging 1,600-square feet - blossom throughout Northern Indiana’s Amish Country from late May ‘till first frost. Most are based on the patterns of traditional Amish quilts; some have a more contemporary feel, each is as unique as the patterns that inspired them. And, we’ve added 11 hand-painted, quilt-themed outdoor murals to the mix. As you tour this impressive display, you’ll experience a colorful and creative connection to the history and heritage of Northern Indiana’s Amish Country.
