Afternoon
Sit back, relax and soak in the sites from aboard the Elkhart River Queen, a paddleboat that cruises on the St. Joseph River. While on board, the captain shares the history and highlights of Elkhart while passengers enjoy a tasty treat of Ritters Frozen Custard.
Evening
An evening of fun and laughs is on the agenda at the Patchwork Quilt Country Inn. Audience members are cast as supporting players in soap opera spoofs and commercials during the “1939 Radio Mystery Show.” This interactive cabaret dinner show will have everyone singing along to favorites like “Blue Skies” and “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.”

Morning
Learn how music is made at Walter Piano during a tour of one of the nation’s only family owned piano makers. Elkhart is the RV Capital of the World making the newly expanded RV/MH Heritage Museum a can’t miss tour experience. Colorful, three
dimensional displays showcase vintage RVs and the latest innovations. Back at the coach, a step-on guide joins the group for a unique tour through the area’s musical heritage. Afterwards sit down to authentic Italian cuisine at a family-owned restaurant in downtown Elkhart.
Afternoon
Take a step back in time at Ruthmere, a house museum. Once the centerpiece of Elkhart society, this beautiful 1908 Beaux Arts mansion has been lovingly restored. Tour lushly appointed rooms with period furnishings and fine arts such as Tiffany lamps and Rodin sculptures. Afterwards search for those hard to find treasures of days past at Hearts Desire Antique and Collectibles market.
Evening
After a full day head back to the hotel to freshen up a bit. Start the evening off with a wine tasting seminar lead by a local wine expert. The 1950s retro Alley Oops Diner serves up cheeseburgers, milkshakes barbershop quartet entertainment.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel then check out before visiting the Midwest Museum of American Art, home to the Midwest’s largest permanent collection of Norman Rockwell paintings. Located in downtown Elkhart, the museum offers many special exhibits throughout the year. Visit the world’s largest hand pegged timber barn and the area’s newest attraction at your last stop. The American Countryside Farmers Market houses more than 400 local vendors offering fresh produce, handmade crafts and homemade foods. It’s an ideal way to end your memorable trip to Amish Country!
