Great Green Spaces
The City takes great pride in its parks. Several unfurl along Elkhart’s rivers. The gem of the system, Island Park, commands the waters just off-shore where the St. Joseph and Elkhart merge downtown. The fun changes by the season at the NIBCO Water and Ice Park. This unique Riverside facility — the first of its kind in the world — alternates winter skating with summer fun splashing among the geysers and gardens.
