2010 Quilt Garden
“Blazing Star” SIZE: 40’W X 40’H
This year the Blazing Star pattern has taken center stage on the grounds of the Farmstead Inn. Each year they choose a new block from The Shipshewana Blessings Quilt to provide the inspiration for their garden design. The town manager commissioned the original design to embrace all the people who have come here over the course of time. It features both Amish heritage and that of the Pottawatomie Indians who prized this territory for generations prior to being settled by European immigrants.
