Event to highlight racing industry at the Crystal Ballroom in the Lerner

Local race fans will fill the Lerner Theatre for a special event hosted by the city of Elkhart and the Downtown Merchants Alliance. The event will highlight the much-anticipated Elkhart Riverwalk Grand Prix and the greatest spectacle in racing, the Indianapolis 500.
The free event will feature guest speaker Donald Davidson, the Indianapolis 500’s official historian. Hanna Zellers and Troy Allard, two successful racers from the Michiana area, will also share with guests details of what they can expect when karting returns to downtown Elkhart August 11-13. The two will attend as representatives of the United States Auto Club (USAC), the sanctioning body for the Elkhart Riverwalk Grand Prix.
The event will also include door prizes for a few lucky attendees, including tickets to the Indianapolis 500 time trials and Elkhart Riverwalk Grand Prix race apparel.

Mayor Tim Neese and the Downtown Merchants Alliance would like to thank you in advance for your support!
