Anne of Green Gables at the Round Barn Theatre

ASL Interpreted Performance September 21, 8 p.m.

The world-famous novel Anne of Green Gables comes vibrantly to life as a modern classic musical. The story of an orphan just looking for a place to belong, and maybe find a kindred spirit along the way, becomes a timeless love story once she meets the handsome Gilbert Blythe. Ultimately accepted into the home of the plainspoken Matthew and his spinster sister, Mirilla, the high-spirited Anne changes the lives of all she encounters on the way to evolving into a learned young woman. With beautiful tunes like “Around the Bend”, “A Kettle of Fish”, and “Making Up For Lost Time” Anne of Green Gables joins the pantheon of great American musicals.
