Good Friday Horse Auction

The Shipshewana Good Friday Horse Auction is a special sale attracting hundreds of horse lovers from all over the country. This large event lasts well into the evening with up to 400 or more horses sold, or about 25-30 horses per hour. There is also a tack auction with up to five rings of tack and a pony/mini horse auction. Vendors also set up outside and inside selling tack, decor, clothes, small animals, and horse-related items throughout the day.

Tack begins at 9 a.m. in the Misc. & Antique Building, Horses begin at 9am in the Livestock Auction Barn and Ponies/Minis sell at 3pm in the Misc. & Antique Building.
