Great Cardboard Boat Race at United Way of Elkhart

The 2019 Great Cardboard Boat Race will be held Friday August 23, 2019 at LaSalle Bristol pond (in front of the UW offices). This year is PIRATE themed!

The party begins at 11 a.m. with food trucks, a beer garden, a DJ, giveaways, activities, and more! The boats hit the water at 3 p.m.

Join us for our biggest and best Great Cardboard Boat Race yet and help United Way of Elkhart County kick off our annual fundraising campaign! Last year we had more than 1,000 people in attendance. Come grab a delicious meal from our expanded food truck lineup, cheer your favorite team on to victory, and support United Way in our fight to improve the lives of working families in our community!

Last year we set records for the number of boats, crowd size, and money raised for United Way of Elkhart County (over $70,000)! We’re aiming to build on that momentum.
