Lieber Nature Preserve Hike

One of nature’s most unique habitats lies right here in our back yard. Leiber bog, also called Pipewort Pond, is host to some of Indiana’s rarest species. Pitcher and sundew plants, beavers, Sandhill Cranes, and other rare waterfowl make their home at this nature preserve. Experience a bog close up and walk on ground that feels more like a waterbed than dry land! Please wear boots and come prepared for a two hour hike. Meet at the Elkhart County Historical Museum in Bristol, IN.
