Meditation for Anxiety Relief at Spacious Heart Yoga
We live in anxious times, and many of us have lost the keys to igniting our mind and body’s relaxation response. The good news is, you can create relaxation of body, mind and spirit through simple mindfulness techniques.
In this two-hour workshop, we’ll practice a variety of mindfulness techniques and meditations to initiate the calm and collected states that can recharge your life and make you less reactive and more relaxed.
In addition to mind and body techniques, you’ll get some practical advice on other practices for a less anxious, more relaxed and joyful life.
You need no experience to learn from this workshop, but experienced meditators are welcome as well. Physical comfort will be key, so if you’d like to bring some props to help you feel comfortable during the workshop, you are welcome to do so; however, the studio has a variety of props available for use.

Kate Wolford is a certified teacher in the Science of Mindful Awareness (SOMA) method, which focuses on the therapeutic application of mind-body practices through meditation. She is also a certified Yoga Nidra teacher.
