What Wondrous Love: Free concert

On Thursday March 17th at 8:00pm at the Assembly Mennonite Church in Goshen cellist Steuart Pincombe and his wife and singer Michelle will bring the highest level of classical music performance to homes, churches, cafes, bars as part of their year-long national tour, Music in Familiar Spaces. Thursday’s FREE concert in Goshen is called “What Wondrous Love” and will feature spirituals and music from the early shape-note tradition in America. The audience will experience some elements of the early shape-note singalongs, being seated on all four sides of the performers and asked to join in singing for the last piece.
One of the aims of the Music in Familiar Spaces tour is make classical music accessible to a wide and varied audience.

This will be accomplished not only by performing in familiar, comfortable and nontraditional spaces, but by designing programs that invite the audience to experience the music in a new and engaging way. This concert will be free thanks to the generous sponsorship of Credo Music, a transformational ministry which brings talented young classical musicians together with leading professionals in an atmosphere of Christian mentorship and service.
