Winter Tree ID Workshop

Did you know that it can be as easy to identify a tree in the winter as in the summer? You can learn how at Wellfield Botanic Garden’s Winter Tree ID Workshop on Saturday, January 16 at 10:00 AM. This hands-on workshop will teach participants how use tree shape, bark, twigs, leaf scars, and more to identify local trees. Participants will receive a Winter Tree ID pocket guide. The cost is $10 for non-members, $5 for members, $3 for children. This is a great program for the whole family and a wonderful way to get outside and enjoy the seasons. Appropriate for ages 10 to adult. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Space is limited. Registration is required. Registration ends Friday, January 15th.
