Fold Downs, Fifth Wheels, Travel Trailers, Toy Haulers and Class C Motorhomes. Expect to be welcomed like family when you tour this bustling factory. After all, it was the vision of Jayco founder, the late Lloyd J. Bontrager, to treat customers and employee like kin while building America’s most livable RVs. In 1968, Lloyd’s first factory was two chicken houses and a barn on the family farm.
Now 1,500 workers build the extensive Jayco line. A trolleys whisks tour groups from the visitors center, a restored 1880s farmhouse filled with photos and memorabilia. You also can buy Jayco apparel.
