Listed in the National Register of Historic places, the 80-acre restored Old Order Amish farm offers room to roam and packages that include some of the region's best entertainment, food and lodging. Surrounded by pastoral beauty, visitors explore 18 restored and historical buildings, browse six shops, and enjoy wagon and buggy rides.
Amish Acres Restaurant Barn, acclaimed as Indiana's best meal, features the family style Thresher's Dinner with steaming kettles of bean soup along with platters of chicken, ham and beef and other savory Amish fare. Desserts include the prized Shoofly pie along with a selection of fresh fruit and cream pies. A specialty menu of seasonal favorites is served in the Vittles Room from 11 am - 2 pm. Some of the best wines from Indiana and Lake Michigan shore vineyards are served in the Wine Tasting Loft.
The Round Barn Theatre, Indiana’s only professional, resident, musical repertory theatre, presents "Plain and Fancy" in repertory with six musicals and one comedy. The Nappanee Inn and Inn at Amish Acres provide quiet country stays and complimentary continental breakfasts.
