Halloween Activities

Halloween is coming up fast and I can hardly wait!  We’re getting my daughter’s princess costume ready.  And yesterday, we went to Linton’s to get a couple of pumpkins and hay bales.  Here are some great  events to help you get in the mood for ghosts and goblins too…

Wakarusa Fall Party – Celebrating 61 years with carnival games, a cake walk, free cider and donuts and a costume contests where adults and family’s are invited to dress and win  special prizes.   Don’t forget to visit the Great Pumpkin Tree in the center of downtown.

Hall of Villains Haunted House – The Hall of Heroes Super Hero Museum is putting on its annual Hall of Villains Super Villain themed Haunted House fundraiser, Friday and Saturday October 19 and 20, from 7:00-9:30 p.m. Admission is only $5.00 per person. Located at 58005 County Road 105 Elkhart, IN. 46517 Phone 574-293-0755.

Hayride and Campfire at Ox Bow County Park – a night of family-friendly Halloween fun.  Enjoy homemade caramel apples, a roaring campfire and hayrides through the park. Tickets go on sale the day of the event and available for purchase at the Ox Bow gatehouse after 11:00 a.m. Hayrides leave the campfire area every half hour starting at 6 p.m.till 8 p.m.
