Mother Daughter Tea
Where: The Farmhouse, 28854 C.R. 52, Nappanee
When: Starts at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 13
This tea will be a unique experience for you and any other girls/women in your life. It will be held in an open house-type format: Come when you are ready, leave when you are ready. Tea and refreshments will be located in the barn. Guests will have reserved seating when they arrive.
The Farmhouse will be open for tours, along with the gardens and grounds. Local vendors will be in attendance. Enjoy just looking or pick up a last-minute gift. Be sure to bring a camera to take advantage of the many photo opportunities staged around the property. Tickets are $15 per person, a table of six is $75, or a table of 8 is $100.

Second Annual Women’s Day Brunch

Agape’s second annual Women’s Day Brunch honoris the Proverbs 31 Woman. Guest speaker is Sister Eunice Blakely from Faith Temple Church of God in Christ of Gary, Ind. Musical guests include Sister Tameshia Blakely of High Praise Ministries of Michigan City, Ind., and recording artist Wilette Alford of Indianapolis, IN.

Mother’s Day at Amish Acres
Where: Amish Acres, 1600 W. Market St., Nappanee

Treat your mom to the nostalgia of gathering around antique tables amid the hand-hewed beams of the old barn restaurant with your family and share Amish Acres’ Famous Threshers Dinner Buffet. Mother’s Day Brunch

Mom is sure to enjoy a day off while dining in the beautiful Crystal Ballroom, not having to worry about a thing! The brunch will feature an assortment of fresh salads, fruits and breads, as well as quiche, sausage, bacon, and biscuits and gravy. Chefs will carve prime rib and ham to order. Ruthmere Museum Celebrates Mother’s Day
Where: Ruthmere Campus, Elkhart’s Gateway Mile, 302 E. Beardsley Ave., Elkhart

All mothers are admitted free to Ruthmere Museum and Havilah Beardsley House on Mother’s Day. Your mother will enjoy the elegant home of Albert and Elizabeth Beardsley and the newly renovated Havilah Beardsley House, the home of Elkhart’s founding father. Come experience a ride in the 100-year-old 1916 Milburn all-electric automobile. Tours offered at both sites at 1, 2 and 3 p.m.

Mother’s Day Picnic
